These may include airport collection, guest house stays, en-route touring, safari transfers, battlefield routes, mining sites, cultural stops and regional travel. The emphasis is on private guided travel and interpretation, not simply moving passengers from one point to another. ### Why start and end points are essential A route can only be quoted once the exact start and end points are known. Johannesburg, Pretoria, O. R. Tambo, hotels, lodges, stations and private addresses all affect timing and cost. For longer routes, at least one end normally needs to be Johannesburg, or the request must be quoted as a broader private journey with positioning time included. ### Examples of routes that may be linked - [Johannesburg, Soweto and Pretoria touring.](https://ekalatours.com/cultural-historical-tour-2/) - Cradle of Humankind, Lesedi and Hartbeespoort. - [Pilanesberg and Sun City routes.](https://ekalatours.com/pilanesberg-safari/) - [Kruger, Panorama, Mpumalanga and private safari logistics.](https://ekalatours.com/safari/) - [Battlefield or heritage routes where time allows.](https://ekalatours.com/battlefield-tours-south-africa/) - [Cullinan, mining and historical route combinations.](https://ekalatours.com/specialised-mining-tours/) #### Journey structure A flexible journey may include private vehicle use, guiding, airport or station meet-and-greet, accommodation planning, meals, en-route stops, route interpretation and practical timing advice. Items are included only where specifically stated in the quote. Entrance fees, meals, accommodation, third-party activities and specialist services must be clearly listed to be included. #### No shared shuttle model Ekala does not supply shared shuttle transfers that collect unrelated passengers en route. The service is private and structured around the specific guests, route, timing and purpose of travel. Some transfer-only requests may not be suitable as standalone work, but useful logistics can often be built into a guided itinerary. #### What we need Please provide dates, passenger numbers, luggage, collection point, drop-off point, flight details if relevant, route interests, overnight needs, pace, special requirements and any fixed appointments or flights. Ekala will then advise what is realistic, what route makes sense and whether the request is best treated as a transfer, an en-route tour or a wider private journey. #### Information needed before quoting Please email dates, number of guests, collection point, drop-off point, flight details where relevant, tour interests, dietary needs, allergies, medical or mobility concerns and any special requirements. #### Related Ekala pages [*Information Required to Quote*](https://ekalatours.com/information-to-quote/) [*Terms and Conditions*](https://ekalatours.com/terms-conditions-tours-safaris/) [*Risk Disclosure Summary*](https://ekalatours.com/risk-disclosure/) [*Contact Ekala*](https://ekalatours.com/ekala-eco-tours-contact/) ### Best for Guests needing private guided route planning. ### Important Not a shared shuttle or generic transfer service. ### Planning Exact collection and drop-off details are essential. #### Request a tailored itinerary Email your route, timing and interests so Ekala can advise what private journey is realistic.
