## Private safari planning

Ekala private safaris are planned around timing, route, guest interests, accommodation, park rules, season and realistic travel distances. A safari is not a guaranteed checklist of animals.

The best safari experience usually comes from correct expectations, enough time and flexible route planning.

## Wildlife cannot be guaranteed

Animals move freely and sightings depend on weather, season, time of day, park conditions, animal behaviour and luck. Ekala will try to structure the best possible opportunity, but no specific animal sighting can be guaranteed.

Early starts are often important. Guests should expect long days, changing conditions and quiet waiting periods.

## Vehicle and road conditions

Safari routes may include tar, gravel, uneven tracks, dust, heat, cold and sudden stops. Open safari vehicles may not have seat belts and can expose guests to weather. Guests must remain seated and follow guide instructions.

Closed vehicles may be better for some guests, families, weather conditions or transfer routes.

## Responsible wildlife position

Ekala avoids facilities where wildlife is exploited for close contact, cub petting, walking with predators or similar entertainment. Even where obvious interactions have stopped, the underlying breeding or commercial model must be considered.

Ekala prefers protected areas, conservation-sensitive experiences and wildlife encounters that do not depend on handling or exploiting animals.

## Planning for children and access needs

Safari days can be long. Children need realistic pacing, food and toilet stops, supervision and age-appropriate expectations. Some safari vehicles or lodges may not suit all ages or mobility needs.

Guests must advise mobility limitations, medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs and special requirements before booking.
